After conflicts with ex-husband Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopa moves in with her daughter and shares Griha Pravesh’s video.
Charu Asopa’s personal life has made headlines. In a recent video, she disclosed that she bought a Rajasthan house and relocated there with her daughter Ziana. The actress said Mumbai’s exorbitant cost of living drove this choice. She moved back to her hometown after spending Rs. 1–1.5 lakh every month in Mumbai.
Charu posted an Instagram video of her new home’s Griha Pravesh (house-warming) ceremony from Bikaner, Rajasthan. Her daughter Ziana participated in the rites. Now, Charu and Ziana live in their new home.
For this particular occasion, Charu wore a traditional earthy gown, and Ziana wore sweet blue ethnic clothing. Charu captioned the video “Nanhe Kadmon ke saath grahpravesh,” meaning “house-warming with tiny footsteps.”

Charu married Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen in 2019. They had Ziana after that. However, their marriage had numerous issues. Charu even eliminated “Sen” from her Instagram name, which was noticed. They publicly discussed their marriage problems and made several accusations.
They divorced after separating. After that, they kept in touch with their daughter. Ziana lived with Charu, although neither of her parents had seen her until recently.
Charu lives in Rajasthan because Mumbai is too expensive, and she doesn’t work in daily soaps. She said he was aware of her move. Rajeev later informed Hindustan Times that he feels left out despite trying to stay in touch with Ziana.
He hadn’t seen his daughter since January, and Charu didn’t respond to his Bikaner visit. Later, Charu said Rajeev could visit anytime, but he thinks his efforts were not reciprocated.
Rajeev also appreciated Charu’s hard work and online clothes business. He also doubted her financial woes. He noted that the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team paid for her recent cruise with her brother and sister-in-law, which doesn’t match a financially struggling person.
Despite their troubles, Charu has begun a new life with her daughter in Rajasthan.
