DD Next Level: Santhanam’s Horror-Comedy Series Adds 4th Film with May 16, 2025 Release Date
Santhanam returns with another scary comedy. DD The fourth installment of the Dhilluku Dhuddu horror-comedy franchise, Next Level, will be released in theatres on May 16, 2025.
The news broke when film insider Sreedhar Pillai tweeted the date and a new poster on X (Twitter).

A Brief Franchise Analysis
Dhilluku Dhuddu (2016) The Rambhala-directed first film was a surprising smash.
A popular sequel, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 (2019), stars Shritha Sivadas opposite Santhanam.
The 2023 standalone sequel DD Returns, written and directed by S. Prem Anand, solidified the series’ appeal.
