Did you know Manish Goel and Rupali Ganguly collaborated before Anupamaa?
In a recent interview, Manish Goel revealed that he and Rupali Ganguly worked together in 1998 and described working with her again on Anupamaa.
Anupamaa is a popular Indian TV program. Rupali Ganguly, Adrija Roy, Shivam Khajuria, and others star. Manish Goel joined the cast recently, giving the plot a new twist. Although most of his show scenes are with Rupali Ganguly, the two actors have worked together before.
Manish Goel told Siddharth Kannan that he met Rupali in 1997–1998 on a project managed by her father, Anil Ganguly. He felt terrible about ruining his dialogue, but Rupali comforted and soothed him.
Manish, who returned to TV after three years with Anupamaa, said they worked together on Zara Nachke Dikha and Bhabhi.
Manish said he looked tough and untidy as Raghav during the fake shot for their reunion on the Anupamaa set. Rupali recognized him when producer Rajan Shahi presented him. Jokingly, he urged her not to hug him since he was covered with fake shoot blood.
Manish said filming with Rupali for 25 days was fantastic. He preferred to create his own view on Rupali or Rajan Shahi, who allegedly created a terrible set environment. He noted that he had known Rajan from early directing days and found the set warm and welcoming.
Since they had kids, he and Rupali often talked about their family. They also frequently discussed food. In good humor, Manish said Rupali advised him to gain weight, and he told her to lose weight.
Anupamaa airs nightly at 10 PM.
