Exclusive: Tamannaah Bhatia Joins Sidharth Malhotra in Vvan; June Filming
Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra will appear in Deepak Mishra’s mythological thriller Vvan, produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film will be shot in June 2025.
A unique Indian mythology film starring Sidharth and Ekta Kapoor was announced earlier this year. Tamannaah, who plays the female protagonist, is making her Sidharth debut.
Tamannaah is signing like crazy, according to a source within the production. She joined Vvan after Ranger, the Rakesh Maria Biopic, and No Entry 2. Inspired by Indian folklore and mythology, the 2026 film will be released.
Vvan’s Tamannaah is noted for her performance. Much of the film will be shot in real forests in central India. To master the local vernacular, Tamannaah and Sidharth will take diction classes.
Pre-production work has begun, including looking for forest locales since the plot takes place in a rainforest.
Sidharth Malhotra is finalizing Dinesh Vijan-produced Param Sundari. He will then work on Vvan and Raaj Shaandilyaa’s next film. He is in talks for a Karan Johar production and Race 3 with Saif Ali Khan.
Tamannaah’s projects include Ranger and the Rakesh Maria biopic. Her next stop is No Entry 2 before Vvan.
