Rob Lowe says that Tom Cruise learned his famous running style from Emilio Estevez.

Tom Cruise’s old friends from The Outsiders talk about his running style and risky stunts as he prepares for his new action film.

As fans prepare for Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise’s former co-stars have been commenting about his running style and great action scenes.

On a new Fly on the Wall podcast, Dana Carvey and David Spade interviewed Rob Lowe. They discussed Tom Cruise’s jogging style.

The Outsiders starred Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Emilio Estevez, and Matt Dillon as pals.

While talking, David Spade added, “Tom Cruise runs with his hands straight up and down to cut down wind resistance.” Carvey quipped that Cruise runs like the way in case he needs to karate chop!

Spade said Tom Cruise runs “for about 15 to 20 minutes at full speed, in every movie scene, for every take.”

Spade continued, ‘If I ever bumped into Tom, I’d tell him the most astonishing thing isn’t him hanging from an airplane – it’s how he sprints strongly even in his 60s!’ Hip flexors tighten with age. They could speed up the footage.

Rob Lowe then spoke. He doesn’t think editing makes Tom run faster. Lowe also claimed that Emilio Estevez’s coach, Milan Tiff, a record-setting triple-jumper, taught them how to run.

Tom Cruise will complete his final assignment in Assignment Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Reuniting with Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames. Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff will join the cast.
